Those of you who love to travel might like to use google earth with your families. Today, Mrs. Backemeyer’s class went on a virtual field trip from our school building in Elmwood, (which we miss terribly) to Paris France. We saw a replica of the Degas famous dancer, took a 360 tour of the Eiffel Tower, saw the Seine River, looked at images of Norte Dame before and after the tragic fire. Another hi-light was a 360 degree tour of the Louvre and video of 800 years of history of the museum. We even got to see the Mona Lisa without waiting in line. Many fourth graders looked up their names and saw how they would be spelled in French and they made them their zoom name. Technology worked great during our 45 minute lesson.
